Inconel® X-750 / Alloy X-750

Inconel® alloy X-750 is a precipitation hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy. This superalloy is used in applications that require oxidation and corrosion resistant qualities and high strength at high temperatures. At Altemp Alloys, we carry alloy x-750 in plate and forgings, which are commonly used for:

  • Gas turbines and turbine blades, seals, and rotors

  • Extrusion dies
  • Heat treating and nuclear reactor applications

 

Alloy X-750 Specifications

Suitable for welded or formed parts, X-750 also is used for aircraft structures and rocket engines.

  • Nickel (Ni) - 70%
  • Aluminum (Al) - 0.8%
  • Columbium (Cb)+ Tantalum (Ta) - <1%
  • Cobalt (Co) - <1%
  • Copper (Cu) - 0.5%
  • Chromium (Cr) - 16%
  • Iron (Fe) - 8%
  • Manganese (Mn) - 0.35%
  • Silicon (Si) - 0.35%
  • Titanium (Ti) - 2.5%

In addition, Altemp carries a number of other Inconel alloy grades, including Inconel® 188, Inconel® 600, Haynes 617, Inconel® 625 and Inconel® 718.
