Haynes 25 ® / Carpenter ® L-605
Known as both Haynes 25® and Carpenter® L-605, this is a strong, fabricable cobalt alloy that offers exceptional performance in acid and marine environments. Ideal for heart valves thanks to its resistance to bodily fluids, L-605 (Haynes 25®) is appropriate for the aerospace industry, including use in turbine engines (commercial and military applications), high-heat ball bearing applications, other high-temperature parts, and springs.
