Haynes 230

Haynes 230© offers exceptional strength at high temperatures, oxidation resistance and thermal stability. Haynes 230 can handle exposure to temperatures as high as 2100°F (or 1149°C). This alloy, composed of Nickel, Chromium, Tungsten and Molybdenum, is a stronger alternative to stainless steel and other nickel based alloys.

Haynes 230 alloy is ideally suited for:
  • furnace components
  • aerospace and power plant applications
  • heat treat baskets
  • catalyst grids and baskets for nitric acid
  • expansion bellows
  • gas turbine engine combustors
