Hastelloy C276
Hastelloy® C276 is nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with Tungsten added. Hastelloy C276 alloy has excellent corrosion resistance and is resistant to chloride ions and sulfur blends. With the addition of Tungsten, this alloy resists crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and pitting.
Applications of Hastelloy® C276 include rotors, bolts, shafts, blades and other components in marine applications and other industries, including pollution control; food, waste and chemical processing; paper operations; and multipurpose plants. Hastelloy C276 is also ideal for flue gas desulfurization applications.
